A gorgeous piece of land and the dream of a bustling RV Park is how it all started in late 2019. With the idea of providing a home away from home not only for hunters and fishermen and others enjoying the beauty and wonder of the lake but also for traveling nurses and contractors working in the Augusta, GA and Greenwood, SC areas, phase 1 of Lake Thurmond RV Park opened in July of 2020. Woman owned and woman run, this quaint campground started out with just 29 RV sites, an office, laundry room, and two private shower bathrooms. Now with 45 full hook-up sites, a playground, a dog park, and free Wi-Fi, we continuously strive to make Lake Thurmond RV Park the kind of place you’ll want to visit again and again!
