Broad River Campground is an iconic campground spanning 90 secluded acres overlooking the Broad River & North Carolina mountains. Our campground is family-oriented with many amenities and activities for children of all ages. We will open with 10 cabins, 16 RV sites and 5 domes, with the plan to develop more. A bath house is available to those staying in the domes and RV sites. Those campers staying in a dome will have private access to their own bath stall which includes a shower, sink and toilet. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the campground. This beautiful acreage nestled along the Broad River has hiking and golf cart access to the Broad River Greenway's Washburn Trail and to the main Broad River Greenway which has abundant wildlife, hiking & horseback riding trails, secluded picnic areas, along with swimming & fishing in the river. We host our own private creek on the property that will accommodate small children playing in the creek, like many of us did growing up. This locally owned and developed campground demonstrates the true meaning of camping to everyone. Broad River Campground is excited to offer cabins, domes and RV sites that will leave the camper yearning to come back for more. Our goal is to create a different experience every time you stay. From staying in a cabin with a hot tub, to glamping in a dome with a hot tub in the woods, to bringing in your own rig to a RV site, we offer a first class experience no matter what experience you choose. Countless hours have been poured into the campground to ensure we provide an experience second to none. Shop local is not just a concept, but a belief of the owners to continue to support our local shops, restaurants, vendors & community leaders. Locally owned was just step one. We involved the community leaders, contractors, and vendors to assist in bringing our dream to life. Furnishings in the tiny homes & domes were purchased from local vendors/antique dealers/flea markets. No cabin or dome is decorated the same, which we pride ourselves on to provide a different setting and experience every time you stay with us. When you enter a cabin or dome, our goal is that this is a “Home away from Home”. Our brand new clubhouse is now open and includes the office, a camp store with food and camping items for sale, as well as a community room that can be rented out for parties and events. A pool will also be located there in the Spring of 2023. As pets are welcome, we also plan to build a dog park and offer primitive tents sites in the future.
