Paradise Pines was purchased by current management in Oct. 2018, five weeks prior to the "Camp Fire" in Paradise and Maglia California on November 8, 2018. The fire burned a small portion of the park near Dogtown Road. The Eastern edge of the fire parallels the fence line on the Southern edge of the park. The area where the guests stay was not burned. Most of the trees survived the fire but the bark beetle has taken several since the fire due to their weakened state and lack of rain in the area. However, we still have a lot of shade and most lots are shaded all day. We are also planning on building the world's largest Adirondack Chair from the trees that were taken by the bark beetle. No sense in not making lemonade from lemons so you will currently find our trees being milled for this purpose.
